Over the years we have nurtured important working relationships with local suppliers across the region. They are able to deliver high quality meat that, where ever possible, is free
range.
Our
beef, lamb and pork are supplied weekly by Stephen Gawthrop’s
of Cottenham and on occasion, we offer rare breed beef and lamb produced by the national
trust at Wimpole
Hall farm.
We
also sell rare breed
and organic pork, such as Oxford sandy black or Gloucester old spot
(Supplied by Suffolk Meat Traders of Elmswell near Bury St Edmunds) and the celebrated Label Anglais free range chickens, reared by the
Farmyard chicken company in Roydon, Essex.
We
produce a hugh range of sausages. A particular favourite
is our polish sausage smoked by Localflavour at
the River Farm Smokery.
The
Watergull
Orchards supply us with their excellent range of apple juices
from Sutton.
Our
free range eggs, vegetables and a selection of preserves and cakes are
all locally sourced.
